In our in-house Sportshop Skifürst rent a ski you’ll find all the equipment you need for your skiing holidays.

Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Ec-card and cash.

Yes, we have some Dutch ski instructors and Austrian instructors who speak some Dutch. But we cannot always guarantee 100 percent that a Dutch instructor is available.

We work according to the principle “first come first served”. For the holiday period, however, we definitely recommend booking early in our online shop. Of course, booking at short notice locally in our office is also possible, but subject to availability and not recommended.

The ski passes must be bought separately. The terms and conditions for the ski passes can be found under the following link.

Yes, adult beginners need a ski pass from the first day, as our practice area for adults at Bernkogel Mountain can only be reached by cable car.
Children beginners do not need a ski pass for the time being, when they are in our children’s practice areas in the centre of Saalbach. The respective ski instructor will notify parents as soon as a ski pass is required.

No, as experience has shown that the learning success achieved on a half-day course is in no relation to that of a full-day skiing course.

Initially groups are formed following verbal questioning with participants assessing their personal skiing ability, age and language. As a second step, we group according to a short demonstration of ability on the piste. In case grouping should not be completely in line with skill levels for once, it is of course always possible to change the group following consultation with the head ski instructor.

Participants are always divided into groups on a Sunday. It is, however, also possible to join an existing group during the week, subject to availability. This is not possible for beginners and all those who do not know how to ride on a lift yet.

The days should follow each other, because the groups continue with the programme and learn something new every day. This could result in a change of groups or for beginners a complete stop to the course. It’s best to arrange this with your ski instructor / head ski instructor person.

Our program for groups is based on one week – with a ski race and great activities – especially on the weekend. That’s why it makes sense to attend the course for the full five days. But of course it’s also possible to attend a course for less days.

Children

From 4 years.

In our ski school children are primarily divided into groups according to age and ability. So should your children or their friends have approximately the same skiing skills, please let the ski instructor in charge know your request before dividing the children into groups on the first day. We will try our best. If the children do not have the same skiing skills, the child that is better at skiing would have to show consideration for the weaker one.

Yes, please pay your children’s lunchtime supervision or food allowance directly to the ski instructor.

Concerning the group lessons a refund of payments already made is only possible in case of accidents, injury or illness, and you need to show the original receipt (see back of the course card) and a medical certificate by a local physician. The amount to be refunded will be recalculated based on the actually rendered services for this period. This will reduce the total amount. When withdrawing during an ongoing service or in case of no-show on the agreed date, there is no refund.
